Puja Suna: Need to heal the burning wounds

Puja Suna is a 10 years old school going girl. She is the daughter of Chudamani Suna who works as a daily labourer. They are very poor and are Schedule Caste. They are ostracized by the society. She hails from village Barpadar, Dungripali block, District Subarnapur, Odisha, India. She is a student of 5th Class in their village primary school.  

Almost a month back one evening while she was sleeping all alone at home accidentally her leg knocked the kerosene lamp(Dibri) as a result it overturned and her wardrobe caught fire. She was all alone at home. She screamed. Neighbours rushed  to douse the flame with water. She was rushed to Dungripali CHC(Community Health Centre). The doctor said there was 40% burn to her body. Her abdomen, breasts, back and legs were burned. The girl was referred to VIMSAR. After a day they further forwarded the case to Cuttack. When the wounds healed she was discharged. Now Puja is under medication.  She   is  under   the  heavy   dose   of  antibiotics.  The tablets are pretty expensive every day the prescribed medicine cost is around Rs.700/-. It is beyond the  reach of this poor family. 

On getting information the volunteers of Helping Hearts, Barpali rushed to help her. They intend to do plastic surgery as well.
