Jatinder Sharma : Vaccinating the society

 

He was born and brought up in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to social unrest and insecurity of life he looked for new avenues. He chose a lesser developed state i.e. Odisha, instead of Punjab or New Delhi where his relatives live. Prior coming to Odisha, he had no business antecedents with our state. Instead of costal belt, he had chosen to startlife afresh in the western Odisha. This region is arid and over here people die of hunger and illness. He entered into vaccination business. His company Om Sai Associates markets entire portfolio of vaccines. Eearlier in Western Odisha vaccines were not available. He setup the first ever cold storage facility of Celefrost, USA in Odisha to preserve the vaccines. In the past 4 years his business outfit saved as many as 158 children who were born with Hepatitis B syndromes. sells the vaccines of GSK, Serum, Sanofi Pasture and Bharat Biotech. Jatinder has taken head-on the duel role of creating awareness among the doctors of western Odisha for administering the new vaccines and at the same time to market them as a one man army. 

That apart, as the President of Rotary club of Sambalpur City he started a hockey academy for the under privileged children. They are grooming around 40 children to play the National Sports of India i.e. Hockey by providing sports kits to the poor kids. On behalf of his club he had taken the animal welfare projects of his region. They rescue injured and sick animals and give treatment 24X7. They have fitted reflection belts to many stray bullocks so as to save these poor creatures from encountering vehicular accidents during the night hours. This initiative not only saving animals, but the lives of human beings as well.
