Asli Udaan, Barpali

Shri Chandra Sekhar Rout a Government teacher of a primary school of Barpali block has undertaken a programme by the name “Asli Udan”. He contends as on this date the extremists are instigating the teenagers of poor families to opt the path of violence and crime. So why can't we the literates and academicians can make the same set of youngsters follow the path of good conduct so as to build a vibrant and stronger India. By imparting right career guidance we can make these under privileged children even doctors, engineers, teachers, artist, singer, academicians, administrators, armed forces or be it sport stars.

Saroj Rout  started  motivational  ​classes  for the school and college students at free of cost ​ by the name Asli Udan. This program caters to the need of Class 8​^th to Class 12^th students. Asli Udan charges a mere Rs10/- (Rupees Ten) to bring the basic sincerity of the children to attend the classes.​​

Asli Udaan trains youngsters on the subjects of value based education; how to get good grades in the classes​; creating positive attitude​; personality development and enhance leadership ​quality. They conduct one class on 2nd Sunday of every month. Until now as many as  300 students have enrolled so far. It got three coordinators who are actively participating on this Umesh Prasad Dash, Ajay Mahattam and Bandita Padhan.
