  1. Barpali-Days got its Day Today

Barpali is no Malgudi and Barpali-days is neither Malgudi-days. However, Barpali-days has its own plot, people, style, flavor which is unique to Barpali and its creator E. Kiran Mohan. The blog has been able to maintain a log of the uniqueness of the culture, tradition, popular festival and the people of Barpali very imaginatively and humanly. Kiran’s knowledge of Barpali in particular and Koshal in general is commendable and courageous. In his writing, Kiran has made the ordinary place and people interesting, historic and heroic. It shows his deep knowledge and love about Barpali, the place where he lives. “Barpali-Days got its Day Today” through the recognition of “Barpali-days” by the popular Oriya Daily “Sambad” . Many congratulations to Barpali-Days and its creator Kiran.

  3. Kiran, I am extremely happy that a dedicated person like you have shown the different sites of Barpali town in your Barpali Days. The topics that you are reflecting in your blog is really not only heart touching but also inspiring. Many a time I feel elated when I visit your blog and get stunned that how a peson like you spend your valuable time in this regard when the people are extremely self centerd in the restless world. Thanks for your painful efforts to reflect Barpali in the International arena. May God bestow his blessing upon you and ... your conscience make you proceed like this for ever....
